We have developed a totally new motor/impeller solution for exhausts with the diameters 640, 710 and 740 mm. Our newly developed impellers and a very efficient and aerodynamic motor together save 18 % on the energy bill compared to what is considered ”best practice” - that is compared to LPC- and EC fans. When compared to conventional solutions, the savings will often amount to more than 70 %.

All in all our solution offers a range of advantages compared to what has been on the market till now:

We have used the best materials in order to ensure steady operation and energy savings for many years ahead. Matching applications
The reason for these big savings is that DACS (as the only company in the industry) has made an application match combining motor, impeller and chimney in an extreme high performance unit. This application match can be made for all exhaust units on the market and will, using DACS’ new highly efficient and aerodynamic fan solution, increase the energy efficiency in all existing exhausts on the market.

Customers with a more conventional exhaust solution can save 70 % or more on their energy bill, as both the total capacity and the efficiency of motor and impeller will increase significantly. DACS also have an optimized solution for our own exhaust units:

If ”DACS new” was set to move the same quantity of air as ”DACS old” (15.710 m3/h), the improvement would be 28 %.

Currently DACS offers energy optimization for exhaust units with the following diameters: 640 mm, 700 mm and 740 mm. The units can be run as both on/off and with a frequency inverter. None of DACS’ competitors can offer a similar product, and therefore an energy optimization with this solution from DACS is extremely profitable.

The fan can be assembled on site which will save a lot in transportation costs due to the very limited volume needed. The fan is available in a wide range of pitch settings ranging from 37 to 52° in increments of 3°.
