Side-by-side comparison
Erwin Nijssen operates five poultry houses located side by side. In one of them, he installed a DACS ventilation system.
“All five houses have identical feeding and watering systems, so the only real difference is the ventilation. In the DACS house, I see significantly different data compared to the others,” Erwin explains.
Lower heating costs
“In the DACS house, the FCR has consistently been better since production started. At the same time, heating costs are much lower compared to my other houses,” Erwin notes.
Functionality makes the difference
“The warmest air accumulates under the roof. The DACS system brings this air back down to bird level, keeping the litter dry and oxygen levels high. I am convinced this functionality is what creates the better overall performance in this house. The production figures are at the top – what more can one ask for?” Erwin concludes.
