Warm water radiators for poultry and pig houses

  • DACS Video Channel

The warm water carried heating systems from DACS supplies a large quantity of dry heat to the house. Dry heat is useful both for heating up to temperature set point, but also for dehumidification, like in a poultry house, since dry heat can absorb a large quantity of humidity.

It is important, especially during the winter months, to have full heating capacity available. To keep the radiator capacity at optimum rates it is essential that the temperature on the water coming to the system is high. The swing-away front panel and the open lamella structure on the heating surface allow for easy access and thorough cleaning.

All our warm water radiators are equipped with a 0.3 kW blower and the construction of the heating surface ease the water flow inside the heating element, meaning that only a small circulation pump is needed.

Efficient heat distribution
To get the best, and most even, heat input to the stable the radiators should be positioned with strict focus on the ventilation system. The performance on the radiator is stated at a room temperature of 32 °C and an average temperature in the radiator of 85°C. The performance of the radiator raises the bigger the difference between the system's incoming water and room temperature is.

We offer the radiator in several sizes. Consult DACS for proper size selection.
